Hi everyone ,

hope your are well and keeping safe. I am sure like me you are getting prepared for the resumation of golf on the 29th March

I will be resuming my golf lessons on the 29th March, I have recently added an online diary which allows you to book a lesson on line which is a very straight forward procedure which you will be able to access by going onto the club website or alternativley you can contact me in the shop or by email.

The shop will be operating on a click and collect service , so if you do require any new equipment, shoes, clothing, balls etc I will be on hand. Unfortunatley the swing room will have to remain closed until the monday 12th April, however I will be taking bookings for club fittings if you are looking to purchace new irons or woods .

I have alot of new stock arriving over the next few weeks so I will be very busy getting it all on show. I have just had delivered some very nice Glossop club crested shirts, midlayers and vests from PING and Galvin Green as you will see from the picture .

on a club note all the members who paid there entry fees for the winter have had that money credited to your accounts on the workbook have a good week and catch you all next week.

Now this one has been a long time coming but we're delighted to be receiving our PING G425 stock in the next couple of weeks.

Deja vu

After a crazy few days of the good, the bad & the ugly at TPC Sawgrass, we appeared to have a repeat of the previous week’s Sunday shoot-out between Bryson DeChambeau and Lee Westwood at the Players Championship…

We didn’t know it at the time but the winner was ultimately decided on the fourth hole. Bryson topped his tee-shot into the water before Westwood sliced his into the drink. Having made a double-bogey six and a bogey respectively, suddenly Bryson and Lee seemed very relatable! In the end, it was Justin Thomas who came through the chasing pack to claim a one-shot victory after what he described as “one of the best rounds of my life tee-to-green.”
